Värikkäitä jääpaloja
Jo toisena talvena peräkkäin koristelemme pihapuumme värikkäillä jääpaloilla. Niiden tekemiseen tarvitaan vain vähän pakkasta ja hiukan muitakin tarvikkeita.
Tytöt ovat innostuneita jääpalojen tehtailijoita ja onneksi joka talvi jääpaloja tarvitaan enemmän ja enemmän kun puumme kasvaa kesän aikana.

Teippiä
1. Tehdään narusta ripustuslenkkejä ja kiinnitetään ne purkkien reunaan teipin avulla
2. Täytä purkkien pohja vedellä, noin 2 senttiä
3. Värjää vesi vesiväreillä
4. Laita purkit ulos jäätymään, huom. ulkona pitää olla pakkasta
5. Lisää myöhemmin lisää vettä purkkeihin, noin 1 sentin verran. Tällä toimenpiteellä varmistetaan ripustuslenkin jääminen jään sisälle.
6. Kun jääpala on kokonaan läpikoitaisin jäätynyt, irroita se purkista. Yritä säilyttää purkit ehjinä, ne voidaan uusiokäyttää tekemällä niillä lisää jääkuutioita.

Colorful Ice Cubes
This is the second winter when we are decorating our Oak tree with colorful ice cubes. Making those is really easy, you just need minus temperature to create those.
My girls just love creating those and because our tree groves every year, more and more ice cubes are needed, which is only a good thing.

Used milk/yoghurt cartons
Rope
Tape
1. Create a hanging loops for ice cubes from a rope and fix them to the edge of cartons with tape
2. Fill the bottom of milk and yoghurt cartons with water, only 2 centimeters
3. Add color to the water with watercolors
4. Put outside for icing when there is minus temperature
5. Add some more water into cartoon, approx. 1 centimeter, reason for this is to secure the hanging loop into center of the ice.
6. When whole cube is totally frozen, remove it from the cartoon. Try to keep the cartoon unbroken, so that you can re-use it to make more ice cubes.
7. Hang colorful ice cubes to your tree and enjoy
